A Flash AU

It started with the accident. He tried to mitigate the damages, but it wasn't enough. It changed the entire city. He couldn't just sit by while these...things he created wrecked havoc. But what could he do? He wasn't like them. Until he found a way. He changed himself. He made himself like them. He gave himself speed. But just being a hero wouldn't be enough. He needed them to fear him. Only then could he keep the city safe, keep his daughter safe. No matter the cost.

It didn't matter that he was dying. It didn't matter that the more he pushed himself, the worse it got. He knew if he stopped, his body would start to decay. The V6 wasn't enough anymore. Which was when the hole punched from one reality into his. Opening a whole new realm of possibilities. A world he didn't care about. He could send these monstrosities to be killed there. Send them on suicide missions. They feared him enough to do as he said. He could find other speedsters to take what they had, to keep himself alive.

He would protect what was his, what mattered most, even if it meant losing himself.
